East German Shepherd, West German Shepherd, American German Shepherd. What is the difference?

Simply stated the East German shepherd has bloodlines that date back generations to the geographical area that was formally known as East Germany. The East German GSD while being outstanding as companion/pets also have pedigrees that are known to have produced dogs with strong work ethic which can make them great candidates for work and sport. The East dog or sometimes known as DDR dogs are also more in line with AKC breed standard size of 22" to 26" tall at the shoulder with males weighing between 85 and 90 pounds and females ranging between 65 to 70 pounds.

Are your dogs registered with the AKC and do they come with AKC papers?

Every litter is registered with the AKC. AKC Registration papers will be provided with proof of spay or neuter. We also sell dogs with full registration. Terms and conditions prevail; please contact us for details.

Do your puppies and dogs come with a contract?

Do you test for hip dysplasia?

Goble Kennels takes every precaution we can to assure that we breed dogs with healthy hips that are not prone to hip dysplasia. This includes making sure that all of our dogs have been evaluated and rated by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals or PENN Hip. We will not breed any dog that doesn't receive passing ratings by OFA or PENN Hip.

I don’t live within driving distance of Goble Kennels. Do you ship?

Yes, we ship from the Manchester, NH (MHT) airport. Shipping fees usually are around $350.00. We will provide current shipping fees at time of the sale.
